JAC JS2 Price in Egypt Increases by EGP 10,000
Al Qasrawi Group, the official distributor of JAC vehicles in Egypt, has announced a new price hike for its compact crossover, the JAC JS2. The model, which has long been one of the most affordable options in its segment locally, now sees its sole variant priced at EGP 800,000, up from EGP 790,000 — an increase of EGP 10,000.
Dimensions and Design
The JAC JS2 features compact dimensions ideal for urban driving, with a length of 4,135 mm, a width of 1,750 mm, and a height of 1,568 mm. It rides on a 2,490 mm wheelbase and offers a 450-liter cargo capacity in the rear, along with a 42-liter fuel tank.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the JS2 is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 111 horsepower and 146 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission. The suspension setup includes an independent MacPherson strut front and a semi-independent torsion beam rear, complemented by electric power steering. The vehicle rolls on 16-inch wheels.
Interior Features
Inside, the cabin is equipped with a multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and rear parking sensors. A 9-inch touchscreen with MP5 support, radio, front USB port, and four speakers provide entertainment. The interior features black upholstery, foldable second-row seats, and manual driver seat adjustment.
Exterior Highlights
Externally, the JS2 comes with roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, daytime running lights, front and rear fog lamps, automatic headlights with follow-me-home function, rear wiper, and electrically adjustable side mirrors.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The safety suite includes airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system, hill-start assist, brake assist, and BOS braking system. It also features rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, rear seatbelts, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
