Price Hike of 40,000 EGP for Egypt's Cheapest Crossover SUV

Qasrawi Group, the exclusive local dealer for the JAC brand in Egypt, has announced a price increase for the JAC JS2 crossover utility vehicle, model year 2026, in the local market during June.

New Prices of JAC JS2 in Egypt

According to the latest official price list from the Chinese brand's local dealer, the price of the new JAC JS2—currently the most affordable crossover SUV in Egypt—has risen by 40,000 EGP, bringing its new price to 800,000 EGP, up from 760,000 EGP.

The vehicle features compact dimensions, with a length of 4,135 mm, a width of 1,750 mm, a height of 1,550 mm, a wheelbase of 2,490 mm, and a trunk capacity of 450 liters.

JAC JS2 Engine

The JAC JS2 is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 113 hp and 146 Nm of torque, paired with an automatic transmission.

JAC JS2 Features

Standard equipment includes a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity, and parking sensors.

In terms of safety, the car is equipped with airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability program (ESP), tire pressure monitoring system, and hill-start assist.

The JAC JS2 is offered in the Egyptian market in a single trim level, with its official price now set at 800,000 EGP, up from 759,000 EGP previously.
