Haval Prices in Egypt Rise Again in October, Up to EGP 60,000
GB Auto, Haval's Egyptian distributor, announced a second price increase across four models in October, ranging from EGP 25,000 to EGP 60,000. The Haval V7 led with a EGP 60,000 hike on both trims, while the H6 rose by EGP 30,000, the Jolion by EGP 25,000–26,000, and the H7 by EGP 25,000. The move comes amid cost pressures on distributors and ongoing market fluctuations.
GB Auto, the local distributor of Haval in Egypt, has raised prices across four models in October — the second increase for the Chinese brand this year. The hike reaches EGP 60,000 on the V7, while other models saw increases between EGP 25,000 and EGP 30,000. Haval continues its upward price trajectory in the Egyptian market.
Haval H6 Prices After the New Increase
The first trim of the Haval H6 now costs EGP 1,340,000, up from EGP 1,310,000 — a EGP 30,000 jump. The second trim reached EGP 1,530,000 from EGP 1,500,000, matching the same increase. The H6 runs a 1.5-liter engine producing 181 hp and 275 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels, with MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear setup, plus a 61-liter fuel tank. Those figures keep it competitive in the compact crossover segment.
Haval H7 and Jolion: Mid-Range Hikes
The Haval H7 now starts at EGP 1,765,000, up from EGP 1,740,000 — a EGP 25,000 increase — and is offered only in the Ultra Black Edition trim. The Haval Jolion saw modest bumps across its three trims: Standard at EGP 1,025,000 from EGP 999,000, Deluxe at EGP 1,080,000 from EGP 1,055,000. High Deluxe at EGP 1,180,000 from EGP 1,155,000. The increases ranged between EGP 25,000 and EGP 26,000 across the three.
Haval V7 Leads with EGP 60,000 Increase
The biggest hike hit the new Haval V7: its first trim rose to EGP 1,885,000 from EGP 1,825,000. The second to EGP 2,160,000 from EGP 2,100,000 — EGP 60,000 per trim. The model targets a higher price bracket, positioning it as a rival in the relatively premium SUV space. The increase reflects cost pressure on distributors amid fluctuations in the Egyptian car market.
This second October increase for Haval prices underscores mounting pressure on distributors, while buyers weigh the impact on purchase decisions. Will further hikes follow in the coming months? Current figures suggest the Chinese brand is holding its ground despite higher prices. Haval remains an option for those seeking strong specs at a competitive price.
