Forthing Egypt Prices Rise by Up to EGP 50,000
Forthing Egypt has issued its October 2026 price list for 2027 models with increases of up to EGP 50,000. The T5 EVO now costs EGP 1,220,000, the T5 EV EGP 1,410,000, the T5 REEV EGP 1,420,000 and the S7 EV EGP 1,320,000. The hikes cover petrol, electric and extended-range variants amid rising distributor operating costs.
Forthing Egypt has raised prices on its 2027 model lineup by up to EGP 50,000, according to the October 2026 price list issued by local distributor Al-Amal Group. The increase covers petrol models, fully electric versions, and REEV extended-range variants, alongside the brand's family-oriented SUVs. Forthing now joins a growing list of Chinese brands adjusting sticker prices in the local market this year.
Forthing T5 EVO: EGP 30,000 Higher
The Forthing T5 EVO 2027 Exclusive trim climbed EGP 30,000 to EGP 1,220,000, up from EGP 1,190,000 in the previous list. That figure places the crossover squarely against several locally assembled Chinese rivals in the upper-mid segment. Does the T5 EVO still make sense at this price?
Electric and REEV Variants Follow Suit
The battery-electric Forthing T5 EV 2027 rose EGP 30,000 to an official EGP 1,410,000, compared with EGP 1,380,000 before. The Forthing T5 REEV 2027 moved by the same margin to EGP 1,420,000, up from EGP 1,390,000. Its extended-range setup still removes full dependence on charging infrastructure, yet the gap to the petrol model has widened further.
Forthing's S7 EV 2027 also gained EGP 30,000, with the Exclusive trim now listed at EGP 1,320,000 instead of EGP 1,290,000. No specification changes were announced; the adjustment is purely financial. Updated Forthing prices apply to 2027 models currently offered by the distributor.
What It Means for Egyptian Buyers
The increases land amid rising operating costs for distributors, including shipping, customs clearance, and currency fluctuation. Used Forthing models could see price movement of their own as the increase filters into the second-hand market. Anyone planning to buy a T5 EVO or S7 EV in the final quarter of 2026 should expect a bill roughly EGP 30,000 higher than before.
