Chery Tiggo 8 Prices in Egypt Rise by EGP 15,000 with 2027 Model Launch

Ghabbour Auto, the exclusive local dealer for Chery in Egypt, has officially launched the 2027 Tiggo 8 in the local market, with a price increase of EGP 15,000 compared to the previous version. The SUV is assembled locally at the company's Egyptian facilities.

According to the official announcement from the local dealer, the new Chery Tiggo 8 starts at EGP 1,170,000 for the seven-seat Comfort trim. The five-seat Luxury variant is priced at EGP 1,230,000, while the seven-seat Luxury trim costs EGP 1,270,000.

Engine and Dimensions of the New Chery Tiggo 8

The new Chery Tiggo 8 is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, producing 145 horsepower and a maximum torque of 210 Nm between 1,750 and 4,000 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed DCT automatic transmission, achieving an average fuel consumption of 7.4 liters per 100 km and a top speed of 190 km/h.

Measuring 4,700 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,746 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,710 mm, the Made in Egypt SUV rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Safety Features of the 2027 Chery Tiggo 8

The Chery Tiggo 8 is equipped with a range of safety systems, including six airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), and electronic stability program (ESP). It also features a hill descent control (HDC) system for maintaining stability on steep descents.
