Chery Tiggo 8 2027 Officially Gets a Price Hike in Egypt

GB Auto, the official distributor of Chery in Egypt, has announced a price increase for the locally assembled Chery Tiggo 8 as it launches the 2027 model year in the Egyptian market. The hike amounts to EGP 15,000 across all available trims.

The updated prices are as follows: Comfort 7-seater at EGP 1,170,000 (up from EGP 1,155,000), Luxury 5-seater at EGP 1,230,000 (up from EGP 1,215,000), and Luxury 7-seater at EGP 1,270,000 (up from EGP 1,255,000).

The SUV is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivering 145 hp at 5,500 rpm and 210 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. It features selectable Eco and Sport driving modes, and a wet-type DCT transmission that enhances driving dynamics and fuel efficiency. The front suspension uses MacPherson struts suited for various road conditions, while the rear multi-link setup ensures added comfort for rear passengers.
