Chery Arrizo 5 2027 Gets EGP 10,000 Price Hike in Egypt

GB Auto, the official distributor of Chery in Egypt, has launched the locally assembled 2027 model year of the Chery Arrizo 5. The updated sedan is available in three trims, carrying modest price increases over the outgoing version.

The 2027 Chery Arrizo 5 starts at EGP 730,000 for the base trim, up from EGP 720,000—a rise of EGP 10,000. The mid-range trim is priced at EGP 775,000, compared to EGP 765,000, also reflecting a EGP 10,000 increase. The top-spec variant now costs EGP 815,000, versus EGP 805,000 previously, carrying the same EGP 10,000 price hike.

Engine and Performance

Powering the 2027 Chery Arrizo 5 is a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 114 horsepower and 141 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a CVT gearbox and features front-wheel drive. The fuel tank capacity stands at 48 liters. The suspension setup consists of an independent MacPherson strut front and a semi-independent torsion beam rear.

Safety and Security Features

Safety equipment includes an engine immobilizer, front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors in the rear seats.
