Proton Saga is the Cheapest Automatic New Car in Egypt This June
The locally assembled Proton Saga has taken the lead as the most affordable automatic new car in the Egyptian market this June, according to an announcement by El-Araby El-Sewedy, the exclusive distributor of the Malaysian brand in Egypt. The model is officially priced at EGP 650,000, making it the lowest-priced automatic new car currently available.
Dimensions and Cargo Space
The Proton Saga offers practical dimensions for daily use, measuring 4,200 mm in length, 1,600 mm in width, and 1,500 mm in height. It features a ground clearance of 171 mm and a rear cargo capacity of 413 liters.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Saga is powered by a naturally aspirated 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine producing 95 hp and 120 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission, striking a balance between performance and fuel efficiency.
Safety Features
The Proton Saga comes equipped with a range of safety features including front airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS-EBD-BA brake assist systems, and rear parking sensors with a camera, enhancing safety standards in this budget-friendly segment.
