Expectations: All-New Suzuki Across to Enter Egyptian Market in January

It seems the wave of new cars arriving in the Egyptian car market won't stop in the current and upcoming period. Among the cars included in the expectations to enter the local market is the all-new Suzuki Across. That has never been offered in Egypt before. According to recent forecasts, the car is expected to be introduced in Egypt in January 2027.

Suzuki Across Exterior Dimensions

The car arrives as a replacement for Vitara or alongside it, with specific dimensions. Length is 4360 mm, width 1795 mm, height 1655 mm. Wheelbase stands at 2600 mm.

Suzuki Across Engines

In foreign markets, the car features a 1.5-liter engine paired with an electric motor producing a combined 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. A hybrid version is also available, with a 1.5-liter engine and electric motor plus automatic transmission. The car also relies on a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine with 137 Nm of torque, offered with a manual gearbox (excluded from Egypt) and a 6-speed automatic.

Exterior touches include 17-inch steel and alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights with fog lights and LED daytime running lights. Electrically folding mirrors and a sunroof come in the top trim.

Suzuki Across Cabin Features

The cabin gets leather upholstery and audio controls on the leather steering wheel with cruise control. A 10.25-inch TFT color screen and head-up display with wireless charger are standard. Front and rear electric windows, keyless entry and remote engine start, central locking, rear AC vents. Driver seat height adjustment are included. The second-row seats fold, with leather or fabric upholstery depending on the trim.

The driver's seat offers 8-way power adjustment with headrests and front seat ventilation. Bluetooth connectivity, a 10.1-inch screen, rearview camera, phone mirroring, and front and rear USB chargers round out the package.

Key Suzuki Across Safety Features

Safety systems include ABS and EBD with electronic stability control, front, side, and curtain airbags. ISOFIX child seat anchors, security alarm, hill-start assist, electronic parking brake, emergency braking, and forward collision warning are all on board.

Pricing in Egypt hasn't been announced yet, but expectations point to strong competition in the SUV segment. The Suzuki brand is likely to draw significant attention upon arrival, especially with growing demand for hybrid vehicles in the Egyptian market.
