Man East, the exclusive distributor of the Soueast brand in Egypt, has officially introduced the Soueast S08 DM 2027 model in a single trim variant. The vehicle is priced at EGP 1,799,000 according to the latest official price list released by the distributor.

This move expands the Chinese brand's footprint in Egypt's competitive SUV segment, particularly within the growing market for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.

Performance Specs and Hybrid Powertrain

The Soueast S08 DM is equipped with a battery pack manufactured by CATL, utilizing LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology with a capacity of 18.4 kWh. The battery delivers an all-electric driving range of up to 100 kilometers under the NEDC standard, with an average fuel consumption of 5.3 liters per 100 kilometers. The vehicle runs on 92-octane gasoline and has a fuel tank capacity of 70 liters.

In terms of dimensions, the S08 DM measures 4,810 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, and 1,795 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,875 mm, contributing to a spacious cabin and stable road handling.

Interior Features and Infotainment Technology

The cabin of the Soueast S08 DM features a 15.6-inch central display that can be tilted to provide optimal viewing angles for both the driver and passengers. The vehicle also includes an advanced audio system with 12 speakers, along with a smart multi-purpose refrigerator adjustable from -6°C to 50°C.

The dual-zone automatic climate control system in the S08 DM comes with independent air vents for the second and third rows, ensuring balanced air distribution throughout the cabin. The fully electric seats offer heating, ventilation, massage, and memory functions, as well as multiple seating and relaxation modes including the full-length sleeping position known as Big Bed Mode.

Practical Amenities and Convenience Features

The front passenger seat features advanced practical capabilities. It can be fully reclined to provide second-row occupants with additional relaxation space. The seat also includes a foldable table for working while on the move, plus a Boss Key feature that allows easy control of the front seat from the rear seats.

The Soueast S08 DM supports both AC and DC European charging protocols for slow and fast charging, as well as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) external power discharge capability, making it a practical choice for daily commuting and long-distance travel alike.
