Soueast to Launch S06 DM and S08 DM Plug-in Hybrids in Egypt

Man East, the official distributor of Soueast in Egypt, is gearing up to unveil two new models that will make their debut in the Egyptian automotive market. The official reveal of the Soueast S06 DM and Soueast S08 DM is scheduled for June 24. Both vehicles are equipped with plug-in hybrid technology, marking a significant step for the brand in offering more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly mobility solutions in the region.

Soueast S06 DM: Powertrain and Performance

The Soueast S06 DM is a compact SUV that utilizes a hybrid system combining a turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor. The powertrain delivers a total output ranging from 265 to 335 horsepower, along with a substantial 530 Nm of torque. Power is channeled through an automatic transmission, enabling the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds. The S06 DM is powered by a 19.43 kWh battery pack, which allows for an all-electric driving range of up to 114 km. In hybrid mode, the total range exceeds 1,000 km, while fuel consumption is rated at a highly efficient 4.9 liters per 100 km.

Dimensions and Features of the S06 DM

In terms of dimensions, the Soueast S06 DM measures 4,616 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,690 mm in height, riding on a 2,720 mm wheelbase. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a premium 9-speaker Sony sound system and modern display screens, enhancing both comfort and connectivity for occupants.

Soueast S08 DM: A Seven-Seater Hybrid SUV

The second model, the Soueast S08 DM, is a larger seven-seater SUV designed to offer greater comfort and sophistication. It shares the same plug-in hybrid architecture but with a more powerful configuration, producing a total of 355 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. This allows the S08 DM to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds. It comes with an 18.4 kWh battery, providing an electric-only range of up to 100 km, while the combined hybrid range also surpasses 1,000 km.

Exterior Design and Safety of the S08 DM

The Soueast S08 DM boasts larger proportions, with a length of 4,810 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,705 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,820 mm. Its exterior is highlighted by a distinctive 'Galaxy' front grille, while the vehicle is packed with an array of advanced safety features and modern technologies. With the launch of these two models, Soueast is poised to strengthen its presence in Egypt's growing hybrid SUV segment, catering to buyers seeking a blend of performance, space, and efficiency.
