Egypt's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Hussein Issa, paid an extensive visit to the historic Nasr Automotive Company factories in Helwan, where he met with Yehia Abdel Halim, CEO of SN Automotive, and several company leaders. The visit aimed to review the latest developments in the electric vehicle manufacturing sector and the company's preparations for a landmark launch.

Local Manufacturing Plan for Electric Vehicles

During the visit, attended by Mohamed El-Saadawi, Chairman of the Metallurgical Industries Holding Company, and Nabil Hammad, CEO of Nasr Automotive Company, Issa listened to SN Automotive's detailed plan for launching the first fully locally assembled electric car in Egypt and the Middle East. The vehicle is being manufactured inside the Nasr Automotive factory, representing a qualitative leap in the local electric vehicle manufacturing sector.

Official Launch Date Revealed

Yehia Abdel Halim, CEO of SN Automotive, provided a comprehensive explanation of the technical details related to the final preparations, revealing that the official launch date for the new electric car has been set for the third quarter of 2026. Abdel Halim confirmed that the company is putting the finishing touches on a product designed to meet Egyptian consumers' expectations in terms of quality, efficiency, and economical operation.
