Renault Kardian 2026: Cheapest New European Crossover in Egypt
The Egyptian International Automotive Company, the exclusive distributor of Renault in Egypt, has announced the availability of the all-new Renault Kardian 2026 in the local market this June, positioning it as the most affordable new European crossover in Egypt.
Renault Kardian 2026 Prices in Egypt
The Renault Kardian is offered in three trim levels, starting with the Evolution grade at EGP 850,000, followed by the Techno trim at EGP 900,000, and the top-of-the-line Iconic variant at EGP 950,000.
Engine Specifications and Dimensions
The Kardian is powered by a small 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, producing 100 horsepower and a maximum torque of 142 Nm, mated to an automatic transmission. The crossover features compact dimensions with a length of 4.120 meters, a wheelbase of 2.604 meters, and a generous ground clearance of 209 mm. The cargo capacity stands at 410 liters, while the fuel tank holds 50 liters.
Safety and Driver Assistance Features
Standard safety equipment includes front airbags, an anti-lock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control, emergency brake assist, hill-start assist, rear parking sensors, cruise control, and tire pressure monitoring. Higher trims add side airbags, a rearview camera, blind-spot monitoring, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
Interior and Exterior Equipment
The vehicle comes with multiple paint options, LED daytime running lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Higher grades also feature LED fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, and two-tone alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin is equipped with an 8-inch infotainment screen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a multifunction steering wheel, and manual or automatic air conditioning depending on the trim, with additional premium comfort features reserved for the top variant.
