Peugeot 408 Facelift Launched in Egypt at Previous Prices
Mansco, the official distributor of Peugeot in Egypt, has introduced the updated facelift version of the Peugeot 408 to the local market for the first time. The refreshed model brings a range of design enhancements and interior upgrades while retaining the same powertrain and drivetrain as the previous version.
Trim Levels and Pricing
The Peugeot 408 Facelift is offered in Egypt across two trims at unchanged prices from the 2026 model year. The base Allure trim is priced at EGP 1,889,990, while the top-spec GT trim is available for EGP 2,199,990. This pricing strategy ensures that customers receive meaningful updates without any additional cost burden.
Engine and Performance Specifications
Under the hood, the Peugeot 408 Facelift is powered by a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine producing 215 horsepower and 300 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission driving the front wheels, delivering a sporty yet refined driving experience suitable for both city commutes and highway cruising.
Dimensions and Cargo Space
The vehicle measures 4,687 mm in length, 1,597 mm in width, and 1,485 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,787 mm and a ground clearance of 189 mm. The boot offers 536 litres of storage capacity, expandable to 1,611 litres by folding the rear seats, making it a practical choice for families and versatile usage.
Safety Features and Interior Equipment
The Peugeot 408 Facelift comes equipped with a comprehensive safety suite including six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, hill-start assist, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control. Inside, the cabin features a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera system, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear vents, heated and massaging front seats, and power-adjustable driver seating with memory function in 10 positions, along with 6-way adjustment for the front passenger seat.
