Mansco, the official distributor of Peugeot in Egypt, is preparing to launch the fully updated facelift version of the Peugeot 408 in the local market within the coming days. This move is part of the distributor's strategy to strengthen the French brand's presence in the crossover sedan segment, which is witnessing growing demand from customers seeking a blend of elegance and practicality.
Dimensions and Design of the Peugeot 408 Facelift
The updated Peugeot 408 measures 4,687 mm in length, 1,859 mm in width, and 1,478 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,787 mm. The boot capacity stands at 471 liters, offering ample storage space for daily use and family trips. The exterior design follows Peugeot's modern language, featuring sleek lines that enhance aerodynamic efficiency.
Engine and Performance
The car is powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine producing up to 215 horsepower. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel-drive system, delivering a smooth and responsive driving experience. These specifications position the Peugeot 408 as a strong contender in its class, combining sporty performance with fuel efficiency.
Safety Features and Interior Equipment
The Peugeot 408 facelift comes with a comprehensive safety package including ABS, electronic stability control (ESP), and multiple airbags.
