Peugeot 2008 2027 Model Officially Arrives in Egypt with 2026 Prices
Mansco Automotive, the official exclusive distributor of Peugeot in Egypt, has officially launched the 2027 model year of the compact crossover Peugeot 2008 in the local market. This move underscores the French brand's commitment to delivering its latest iterations to Egyptian customers without delay, while maintaining the same price points as the 2026 model, offering buyers added value without financial strain.
Peugeot 2008 2027 Pricing in Egypt
The Peugeot 2008 2027 model is now available in Egyptian showrooms in two main trims. The entry-level Allure variant is priced at EGP 1,500,000, while the top-spec GT trim reaches EGP 1,650,000. Keeping prices unchanged from the 2026 model is a strategic marketing decision, especially amid the ongoing economic fluctuations affecting Egypt's automotive market.
Engine Specifications and Performance
Both trims of the Peugeot 2008 are powered by a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine, delivering 130 horsepower. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that channels power to the front wheels, providing a dynamic driving experience suitable for daily commutes and highway cruising. This powertrain strikes a balance between sporty performance and fuel efficiency.
Dimensions and Interior Space
The Peugeot 2008 measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,540 mm in width, and 1,550 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm. It offers a generous 434 liters of rear cargo space, making it a practical choice for small families. The crossover rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, enhancing stability across various road surfaces.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
The 2027 Peugeot 2008 comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package, including four airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Advanced braking systems feature Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Hill Launch Assist (HLA), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC). For easier maneuvering, the car includes front and rear parking sensors, along with a 180-degree rearview camera.
Infotainment and Comfort Features
The Peugeot 2008 features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Additional amenities include a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, full LED headlights and taillights, as well as a cruise control and speed limiter. These features combine modern convenience with comfort, reinforcing the model's appeal in the competitive compact crossover segment.
