Mansour Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Opel in Egypt, has announced the launch of the new Opel Frontera in the local market. The SUV joins Opel's lineup as a versatile option blending modern design with practical interior space. The single trim is priced at EGP 1,190,000.

Seven Seats: A First for Opel in Egypt

The number stands out. The Frontera is the first Opel model in Egypt to offer seven seats, providing families and frequent travelers with extra room and flexibility. The cabin is spacious and includes multiple storage areas, making it suitable for daily commutes and long journeys alike.

Medhat Awad, Head of Opel Brand in Egypt, described the launch as a significant addition to the Opel lineup. He highlighted the car's practical approach within the SUV segment, especially as the first seven-seat Opel in the country. Awad stressed the brand's commitment to serving diverse customer needs through practical design, a roomy cabin. Features that enhance driving comfort.

Turbo Engine and Functional Performance

Under the hood, the Frontera relies on a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission handles gear shifts, with a top speed of 190 km/h. These specifications position it as a serious contender in the family SUV category.
