Nissan Magnite Locally Assembled Officially Launches in Egypt on July 25
Nissan Egypt is set to officially unveil the locally assembled Nissan Magnite at a special event on July 25, where the Japanese automaker will announce the official prices and trim levels for the first time. The compact crossover, produced at the company's factory in 6th of October City, marks the first Magnite manufactured in Africa, with a local content ratio exceeding 55%, reinforcing Nissan's strategy to expand domestic production in the Egyptian market.
Engine and Performance Details
The Nissan Magnite is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers 99 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. This setup provides a strong balance between performance and efficiency, achieving an average fuel consumption rate of approximately 17.9 km per liter, making it a practical and economical choice for daily urban driving.
Dimensions and Cargo Space
Measuring 3,994 mm in length, 1,758 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm and a ground clearance of 205 mm, the Magnite is designed to handle both city roads and light off-road conditions. It offers a cargo capacity of 336 liters, expandable to 690 liters when the rear seats are folded, alongside a 40-liter fuel tank.
Interior Features and Technology
The cabin is equipped with a 7-inch infotainment screen, electric power steering, ABS with EBD, and intelligent driver assistance features such as Eco Scoring and Eco Coaching, which help optimize driving habits and reduce fuel consumption. Nissan has also integrated a range of connectivity options to modernize the driving experience.
Safety and Design Highlights
Safety comes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The Nissan Magnite also features LED headlights and taillights, 16-inch sport alloy wheels with 195/60 R16 tires, and a honeycomb front grille with chrome accents, giving it a sporty yet modern appearance that stands out in the compact crossover segment.
