Nissan Magnite Launches in Egypt Soon: Official Specs and Expected Price

Nissan Egypt is gearing up to launch the all-new Magnite, which will be locally assembled and represents the Japanese brand's latest addition to the Egyptian market. This step is part of Nissan's ongoing strategy to expand its local production footprint, with the vehicle currently undergoing intensive testing on Egyptian roads ahead of its official launch.

Global Journey and Market Success

The Nissan Magnite first debuted in global markets in 2020, specifically developed for emerging markets at Nissan's plant in India. By late 2024, sales had surpassed 150,000 units in India and other right-hand-drive markets. This remarkable success prompted the company to expand exports to over 65 markets worldwide, following the start of left-hand-drive production tailored for the Middle East, Africa, and several other regions.

Exterior Design and Powertrain

Nissan unveiled the updated Magnite in 2024 and introduced it to the Middle East last year with a bold exterior design. The vehicle features a strong front fascia with full LED headlights and taillights, two-tone sporty alloy wheels, and roof rails. Under the hood, the Magnite in the Middle East is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine producing 99 horsepower and 160 Nm of torque. It is paired with either a manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox, with a clear focus on balancing performance and fuel efficiency, achieving 17.3 km per liter. Nissan Egypt has not yet revealed the final specifications for the local version, with all details expected to be announced during the official launch event.

Interior Features and Modern Technology

Inside, the Nissan Magnite is equipped with a range of modern amenities. It includes a customizable 7-inch digital instrument cluster alongside a central touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. A wireless phone charger and four-color ambient lighting are also available. Nissan has not overlooked rear passenger comfort, providing dedicated air conditioning vents and USB ports. Additional practical features include a cooled glovebox, cabin air purification system, remote engine start, smart key, and automatic door lock/unlock upon approach or departure.

Safety Systems and Structural Integrity

Nissan has prioritized safety in the Magnite, which rides on a high-strength steel-reinforced body structure. The global version comes standard with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance systems.
