Nissan Magnite Locally Assembled Launches Officially in Egypt with Competitive Pricing
The Egyptian automotive market is set for the official announcement today of the prices and specifications of the newly locally assembled Nissan Magnite. Although the model was previously unveiled, today's reveal will include comprehensive details about all available trims, official pricing, and local equipment packages, adding a fresh option to the growing list of cars manufactured in Egypt.
Nissan Magnite Engine and Fuel Efficiency
The locally assembled Nissan Magnite features a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine, delivering 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT gearbox, which contributes to an exceptional fuel consumption rate of under 6 liters per 100 kilometers. The vehicle rides on a MacPherson front suspension setup, enhancing stability and handling across various road conditions.
Interior Cabin and Infotainment Features
Inside, the Magnite comes equipped with an 8-inch infotainment screen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, alongside a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin features adjustable front seats with height adjustment and slide function, and partial leather upholstery in higher trims. Rear seats can be folded down to expand cargo space, adding practicality for daily use.
Exterior Design and Ground Clearance
The Nissan Magnite boasts robust ground clearance tailored for Egyptian roads, complemented by 16-inch alloy wheels and a surround-view camera system. Exterior highlights include LED or halogen headlights with LED daytime running lights, a chrome front grille, body-colored bumpers, front and rear privacy glass, and LED front fog lamps for improved visibility.
Safety Systems and Ratings
In terms of safety, the Nissan Magnite offers up to six airbags in higher trims, rear parking sensors, and ISOFIX child seat anchors in the rear. The vehicle has achieved a five-star safety rating in Chinese crash test protocols. It is also equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake-force distribution (EBD). With its competitive pricing following local assembly, the Magnite is expected to strongly challenge rivals in the compact SUV segment.
