Nissan Magnite locally assembled in Egypt launches with over 55% local content

First African production for the model
This marks the first time the Nissan Magnite has ever been manufactured and assembled on the African continent. The launch follows a substantial $45 million investment by Nissan Motor Corporation to upgrade passenger car production lines in Egypt.
The investment is designed to boost local manufacturing and increase the vehicle's local content ratio to over 55 percent. These moves align with Egypt's national automotive industry development program and its Vision 2030 strategy.
Bold design and cabin features
The Magnite sports a bold and sporty design language. It features a honeycomb grille, bi-LED headlamps, and L-shaped daytime running lights. Ground clearance stands at a generous 205 millimeters.

Smart connectivity and technology

Keyless entry with push-button start is standard. Remote engine start works from up to 60 meters away. The cabin also includes rear air conditioning vents, an auto-dimming rearview mirror. A Plasma Cluster Ionizer air purification system.
Automatic door lock and unlock functions are also included. All these features aim to deliver a comfortable and well-connected driving experience.
Five-star safety rating
The Nissan Magnite has earned a full 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It comes equipped with six airbags to protect occupants in the event of a collision.
The comprehensive safety suite includes a 360-degree surround-view camera, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). Braking is managed by an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Hydraulic Brake Assist (HBA) complement the braking system. A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) rounds out the safety package.
Turbo engine and fuel economy
The SUV is powered by a turbocharged engine designed for daily driving needs with efficient fuel consumption. Complete specifications for the engine and transmission have not yet been officially disclosed by the company.
