Nissan Magnite Nears Egypt Launch with Expected Arrival in June
Nissan Egypt is preparing to introduce the new Nissan Magnite to the Egyptian automotive market for the first time. The compact crossover is expected to arrive with competitive pricing, targeting buyers in one of the market's fastest-growing segments. The model is anticipated to reach Egypt within the next two months, coinciding with the start of the summer season and specifically during June.
The Nissan Magnite will be locally assembled in Egypt, becoming the brand's third locally produced model after the Sunny and Sentra. Local production is expected to support competitive and attractive pricing for customers.
Engine and Performance
The Egyptian-spec Nissan Magnite is expected to be powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine paired with a CVT transmission. The powertrain is expected to deliver 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque while achieving fuel consumption of less than 6 liters per 100 km. The crossover is also set to feature a MacPherson front suspension system.
Interior Features
Inside the cabin, the Nissan Magnite is expected to offer an 8-inch infotainment display and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Front seats will feature sliding functionality and height adjustment for both the driver and front passenger, while upholstery options will include partial leather trim and folding rear seats.
Exterior Equipment
On the outside, the crossover will feature generous ground clearance suited to Egyptian road conditions, along with 16-inch wheels and a surround-view camera system. Equipment is expected to include LED or halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, a chrome-finished front grille, a body-colored bumper, front and rear tinted glass, and LED front fog lamps.
Safety and Driver Assistance
In terms of safety, the Nissan Magnite will offer no fewer than six airbags in higher trims and has achieved a five-star rating in the Chinese testing system. Additional safety features include rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, and ABS with EBD.
