Nissan Magnite to Launch Locally in Egypt on June 8, 2026
Nissan Egypt is preparing to unveil its first locally assembled new vehicle in Egypt next June. The highly anticipated model is the all-new Nissan Magnite, with the official launch date set for June 8, 2026.
Engine and Performance
The Nissan Magnite will be powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine mated to a CVT transmission. It delivers 100 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque, while achieving impressive fuel economy of under 6 liters per 100 kilometers. Local assembly is expected to help offer the vehicle at competitive and attractive prices. The car features a MacPherson strut front suspension.
Interior Features
Inside, the Magnite comes equipped with an 8-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, supporting both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The cabin includes a sliding and height-adjustable driver and front passenger seat, partial leather upholstery, and foldable rear seats.
Exterior Design
On the outside, the SUV boasts generous ground clearance suited for Egyptian roads, 16-inch alloy wheels, and a surround-view camera system. Lighting options include LED or halogen headlights, LED daytime running lights, a chrome front grille, body-colored bumpers, front and rear privacy glass, and LED front fog lamps.
Safety Equipment
Safety-wise, the Nissan Magnite offers at least six airbags in higher trims and has earned a five-star rating in Chinese crash tests. Additional safety features include rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors in the rear, and ABS with EBD.
