New cars including Magnite set to join Egyptian market for first time in June
The Egyptian car market is gearing up to welcome several new vehicles that will be launched for the first time in the local market during the month of June. The new models come from Chinese and Japanese brands, ranging from traditional gasoline-powered cars to electric and hybrid variants.
Below is a rundown of the most notable vehicles set to be unveiled in Egypt during June 2026:
Kaiyi X4
Kaiyi Egypt Motors, the exclusive local distributor of the Chinese brand, is preparing to introduce the X4 family SUV within days, making it the fourth model from the brand in Egypt. The global version of the Kaiyi X4 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing between 147 and 150 horsepower, with torque reaching approximately 210 Nm, mated to an automatic or CVT transmission.
Soueast S08
MANEAST, a subsidiary of the Mansour Automotive Group and the exclusive distributor of the Chinese brand Soueast, has announced the launch of the S08 SUV during June. In global markets, the Soueast S08 relies on a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total output of around 255 kW (equivalent to roughly 340 hp) and torque of about 525 Nm, according to the manufacturer's data.
Venucia V-Online
The distributor of the Chinese brand Venucia in Egypt is set to unveil the new V-Online for the first time in the local market during June. The version offered in China of the Venucia V-Online features a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, producing up to 197 hp and 285 Nm of torque, paired with an automatic transmission.
These models are expected to attract significant interest from customers looking for modern vehicles with advanced technologies, especially given the diverse powertrain options ranging from gasoline to electric and hybrid.
