Mitsubishi Set to Launch All-New Destinator in Egyptian Market

Diamond Motors, the exclusive local distributor of Mitsubishi in Egypt, is preparing to introduce the all-new Destinator SUV to the local market for the first time. Mitsubishi Egypt's official Facebook page recently released a teaser image of the vehicle, accompanied by the caption "Coming Soon to Egypt," signaling that the official unveiling is imminent.

Engine and Performance

The Destinator is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, delivering 161 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT automatic transmission, while the fuel tank capacity stands at 45 liters, offering a balanced blend of performance and efficiency.

Dimensions and Seven-Seat Cabin

The vehicle measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm. The cabin accommodates seven passengers across three rows of seats, with the second and third rows fully foldable to maximize cargo space. The second-row seats split in a 40:20:40 ratio, while the third row splits 50:50.

Interior Features and Technology

Inside, the Destinator boasts a range of modern amenities, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof that enhances the sense of spaciousness. The vehicle also features multi-color ambient lighting with 64 different colors, allowing the driver and passengers to customize the cabin atmosphere—a clear reflection of Mitsubishi's focus on blending comfort with cutting-edge technology.
