Mitsubishi Destinator 2027 Officially Launched in Egypt with 7 Seats and Competitive Price
Mitsubishi Destinator 2027 Makes Official Debut in the Egyptian Market
Mitsubishi has officially launched the all-new Destinator 2027 in the Egyptian market, aiming to enter the 7-seat SUV segment with a vehicle that combines generous interior space with the renowned reliability of the Japanese brand, along with a sophisticated level of technology and safety features. The Destinator is one of the latest global Mitsubishi models following the Xpander and Xforce, which is sold locally as the Outlander Sport. It has been specifically developed to suit emerging markets in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, and is manufactured in Indonesia.
Turbo Engine with 163 HP and Multiple Driving Modes
The Mitsubishi Destinator is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It is paired with a CVT transmission that provides smooth response and improved fuel efficiency. The SUV supports five driving modes: Normal, Wet, Tarmac, Gravel, and Mud, delivering optimal performance across various road conditions and terrains.
Comprehensive Safety Suite for Enhanced Protection
Globally, the Destinator comes equipped with the Safety Sensing package, which includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. The system also features automatic high-beam control and a surround-view camera setup, significantly boosting driver confidence and passenger safety.
Family-Oriented Cabin with Modern Amenities
The Destinator offers three rows of seating to accommodate seven passengers, with dedicated air conditioning vents for the third row, a panoramic sunroof, and 64-color ambient lighting. The cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and a Yamaha premium sound system with eight speakers. Additional equipment includes USB Type-A and Type-C ports for all rows, foldable rear tables on the front seats, and multiple folding configurations for the second and third rows to maximize cargo space.
Bold SUV Styling and Strong Road Presence
The Destinator carries Mitsubishi's new design language based on the Gravitas & Dynamism concept. It rides on 18-inch wheels with a high ground clearance of 214 mm, enabling confident handling on unpaved roads. The vehicle measures 4.68 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.815 meters, which translates to generous interior space, especially in the second and third rows. The rear design draws inspiration from the legendary Pajero with its Hexaguard Horizon styling and T-shaped LED taillights, giving the SUV a distinctive and commanding appearance on the road.
