Mitsubishi Destinator 2026 Starts at EGP 1.65 Million in Egypt: A 7-Seat Family SUV
Diamond Motors, the official distributor of Mitsubishi in Egypt, has officially launched the all-new Destinator, a seven-seat SUV designed for family use. The model is priced from EGP 1.650 million and will be available to customers starting July 2026, entering a highly competitive segment in the Egyptian automotive market.
Mitsubishi Destinator Pricing in Egypt
The Mitsubishi Destinator is offered in three trim levels. The Mid Line starts at EGP 1,650,000, the High Line at EGP 1,750,000, and the range-topping Premium Line at EGP 1,850,000. These price points position the SUV as a competitive option for families seeking a spacious, reliable, and well-equipped vehicle from the Japanese brand.
Turbo Engine and CVT Transmission
Under the hood, the Destinator is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 163 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a CVT automatic transmission. The SUV offers five driving modes—Normal, Wet, Tarmac, Gravel, and Mud—allowing the driver to adapt performance to various road conditions for enhanced control and comfort.
Family-Oriented Cabin with Modern Features
The Mitsubishi Destinator accommodates seven passengers across three rows, with independent air conditioning vents for the third row to ensure rear passenger comfort. The cabin features a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a premium sound system, USB ports for all rows, ambient interior lighting, and a panoramic sunroof on higher trims, elevating the overall family travel experience.
Advanced Safety Systems
Mitsubishi has equipped the Destinator with a comprehensive safety package, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), six airbags, Blind Spot Monitoring, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and Autonomous Emergency Braking. Higher trims also add a 360-degree surround-view camera system. These features aim to deliver maximum protection for both driver and passengers in diverse driving scenarios.
With the launch of the Destinator, Mitsubishi strengthens its position in Egypt's seven-seat SUV segment, competing directly against established Japanese, Korean, and Chinese rivals. The model leverages a combination of generous interior space, modern technology, and advanced safety features to attract families seeking a practical and versatile vehicle.
