Impressively strong numbers. MG has topped Egypt's passenger car licensing charts for the period from January to July 2026, according to the latest report from the Egyptian Motor Insurance Consortium. The market is clearly shifting.

Total new MG vehicles licensed and insured during the first seven months of the year reached 11,896 units, surpassing rival Chinese brand Chery by over 1,300 units. This success is no accident.

MG Prices in Egypt

The MG 5 sedan comes in two trims: the Comfort starts at EGP 874,990, while the Luxury is priced at EGP 974,990. This is a strong contender in its segment.

The MG ZS is available in two versions as well, with the Comfort at EGP 1,075,000 and the Plus at EGP 1,150,000. The model blends modern styling with interior space.

Meanwhile, the MG GT is offered in two trims: Comfort starts at EGP 1,110,000, while the Luxury comes in at EGP 1,160,000. Yet the family-oriented MG G50 Plus is sold as a single trim for EGP 1,300,000.
