MG 5 2027 Prices and Specs in the Egyptian Market

Mansour MG Automotive has officially released the price list for the MG 5 2027 model year in the local market. The sedan is available in two distinct trims, with pricing starting from around EGP 875,000. The base trim is priced at EGP 874,990, while the higher-spec variant reaches EGP 974,990.

Engine and Performance

The new MG5 is powered by a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1500 cc. This powerplant churns out a maximum output of 120 horsepower, with peak torque rated at 150 Nm. Those figures sit comfortably within the family sedan segment.

According to the manufacturer's official data, the car returns an average fuel consumption of 5.8 liters per 100 kilometers. It's a respectable number for a conventional engine of this size.

Safety and Comfort Features

The safety suite on the MG 5 includes front airbags and an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The list also features Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Standard equipment extends to cruise control, auto headlamps with halogen bulbs, and electrically adjustable side mirrors. The cabin gets air conditioning and front seat adjustment functionality. The entertainment setup comprises four speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, and a USB port.

The second trim of the MG5 includes everything from the base model, but adds several modern touches. Speed-sensitive power steering and daytime running lights are new additions, along with heated side mirrors.

A smart key for push-button start and an electronic parking brake round out the convenience features. The infotainment system steps up with the Inkalink Media System, supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on an 8-inch touchscreen display.
