Mercedes-Benz Egypt has launched the all-electric Mercedes GLC in the Egyptian market. The headline figures? 489 horsepower and 715 km of range. The first version available locally is the GLC 400 4MATIC, featuring dual-motor all-wheel drive.
A Bold New Design for the Mercedes GLC Electric
This is the first commercially produced Mercedes-Benz to carry the brand's evolved design language. The new iconic front grille integrates contour lighting with 942 independently moving light points — and the illuminated Mercedes star sits at its center. The AMG Line exterior package and AMG bodystyling elements add a clear sporty character, alongside 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, flush door handles, and aluminum side sills.
Performance of the GLC 400 4MATIC Electric
The 4MATIC electric drivetrain relies on two motors mounted on the front and rear axles. Maximum output reaches 489 hp, with torque hitting 800 Nm. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.3 seconds. Top speed is capped at 210 km/h. These figures place the Mercedes GLC at the front of its class.
94 kWh Battery and Fast Charging
Battery capacity stands at 94 kWh, delivering a driving range of up to 715 kilometers under the WLTP cycle. DC fast charging peaks at 330 kW — taking the battery from 10% to 80% in just 22 minutes. In 10 minutes, up to 305 kilometers of WLTP range can be restored. Does a Mercedes owner need more than that?
Mercedes GLC Electric Arrives in Egypt
The launch marks a fresh step for Mercedes-Benz Egypt in the country's EV market. Competition in the luxury electric SUV segment is heating up. The GLC 400 4MATIC enters with 489 hp and 715 km of range — numbers that are hard to match. The model is now available through authorized dealers across Egypt.
