Mansour Automotive Opens IM Motors Boutique Showroom in New Cairo

A new chapter for IM Motors in Egypt's luxury SUV segment. Mansour Automotive, the exclusive distributor of the Chinese brand, has officially opened the IM Motors Boutique Showroom in the Fifth Settlement's Park Street East. This brings the brand's local footprint to two showrooms as part of a broader expansion strategy.

Expansion Plans Take Shape

The company isn't slowing down. Mansour Automotive aims to increase the number of IM Motors showrooms across Egypt, bringing the brand closer to customers in more accessible locations. The logic here is straightforward: give more buyers the chance to experience the technology and features firsthand, without traveling far.

This retail push follows the local debut of the brand's flagship model. The IM LS9 SUV, unveiled earlier by the group, represents the spearhead of IM Motors' Egyptian lineup and targets the premium full-size SUV category.

IM LS9: Range-Extended Luxury for Six

The new model introduces the REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) technology to Egypt for the first time. It seats six passengers comfortably. Impressively, the electric-only driving range reaches 300 kilometers, while total driving range surpasses 1,400 kilometers under the Chinese NEDC cycle. These figures give the IM LS9 remarkable flexibility for both daily commutes and long-distance road trips.

Underneath, the SUV relies on the Super Extended-Range System, which incorporates a CATL Freevoy Super Hybrid battery pack rated at 52 kWh with Ultra-High Stability Battery Cells. A 1.5-liter turbo engine acts as a generator to keep things moving, a layout gaining traction across several global automakers.

Two Trims, Official Pricing

IM LS9 is available locally in two trims. The first is the Ultra variant featuring 21-inch wheels at EGP 3.5 million. The second, dubbed Opulent, rolls on 22-inch wheels and carries a price tag of EGP 3.6 million — a clear choice between slightly different priorities.

Mansour Automotive is betting big on this model to cement the brand's position in the luxury SUV arena. With the new showroom now live in the Fifth Settlement, IM Motors is moving steadily toward a robust distribution network.
