Mansour Automotive, the official distributor of IM Motors in Egypt, has officially launched the new IM LS9 in the local market, marking the brand's first model equipped with Range-Extended Electric Vehicle REEV technology. The SUV is available in two trims: Ultra with 21-inch wheels priced at EGP 3,500,000, and Opulent with 22-inch wheels priced at EGP 3,600,000. Positioned in the luxury SUV segment, the IM LS9 blends elegant design, a spacious interior, and intelligent driving systems, offering a fresh choice for customers seeking comfort and reliability.

Powertrain and Electric Range

The IM LS9 seats six passengers and features a Super Extended-Range System, incorporating a CATL Freevoy Super Hybrid battery with a 52 kWh capacity equipped with Ultra-High Stability Battery Cells, alongside a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine acting as a range extender. The vehicle delivers an all-electric driving range of up to 300 kilometers, while the total combined range exceeds 1,400 kilometers under NEDC standards, making it suitable for daily commutes and long-distance travel without range anxiety.

Dynamic Performance and Stability Systems

The SUV is powered by an intelligent 800V Dual-Motor Vector AWD system with two electric motors, generating a maximum output of 510 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 km/h. The vehicle also features ERNC Active Noise Control for effective cabin noise management, enhancing passenger comfort.

The IM LS9 is equipped with the IM Digital Chassis intelligent structure and a four-wheel steering system with up to 24 degrees of steering angle, offering a turning radius of just 4.95 meters. It also includes IM Blowout Stability Control to maintain stability in case of a tire blowout, a Rolling Prevention system to reduce rollover risk, and Crab Mode for lateral driving maneuvers, improving maneuverability in tight spaces.

Intelligent Driving Assistance

The IM LS9 relies on the IM AD Max intelligent driving system, supported by a LiDAR sensor and other advanced sensors, to deliver a semi-autonomous driving experience under various conditions. These systems aim to enhance safety and reduce driver fatigue on long journeys, positioning the vehicle as an advanced option in the luxury SUV segment in the Egyptian market.
