Italian Flag Returns to Lamborghini: Temerario Tricolore Revives a 15-Year-Old Idea

Lamborghini has unveiled a unique version of its Lamborghini Temerario called Tricolore, bringing the Italian flag colors back to the spotlight after a 15-year absence. The car packs a hybrid punch of 920 metric horsepower, blending the brand's identity with the Ad Personam personalization program.

A Design Rooted in Italian Identity

The new version debuted at Monterey Car Week in the United States, becoming the first Lamborghini to carry the Tricolore name since the Gallardo LP 550-2 Tricolore of 2011, which celebrated Italy's 150th unification anniversary. The gap between the two is massive.

The upper body wears Bianco Monocerus white, while the lower sections are covered in Blu Marinus Shiny blue. Glossy Nero Noctis black appears on the roof, mirrors, wheels, and exterior details, giving the car a commanding road presence.

The standout element is the green-white-red stripe, directly inspired by the Italian flag, stretching across the front of the Lamborghini and reviving the idea that defined the Gallardo version 15 years ago. Red brake calipers behind the black wheels complete the look, adding more boldness than its predecessor.

A Cabin That Carries the Flag

Lamborghini didn't stop at exterior changes. The cabin gets Nero Ade black upholstery with Rosso Alala red stitching. Tricolore embroidery appears on the doors, along with special details featuring a silhouette of the car in the rear of the cockpit.

The car was developed as a complete personalization project, where exterior, interior, and small details all work together instead of just adding a stripe or badge to the standard production version. Is that enough? The project carries the Centro Stile design signature and the Ad Personam program together.

No Extra Power Under the Hood

Despite the different look, the Temerario received no mechanical upgrades over the standard car. The hybrid powertrain combines a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors.

Total output stands at 920 metric horsepower, roughly 907 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 2.7 seconds, making it one of the quickest cars in its segment.
