Kia EV6 GT Launches Officially in Egypt with 640 HP and 450 km Range

Egyptian International Trading (EIT), the official distributor of Kia in Egypt, has introduced the new high-performance GT variant of the all-electric Kia EV6 for the first time in the local market. This launch coincides with the opening of Kia's first dedicated electric vehicle showroom in Egypt and across the African continent, highlighting the Korean automaker's commitment to expanding its footprint in the region's EV sector.

Kia EV6 GT Price in Egypt

The new model is offered in a single GT trim at an official price of 3 million Egyptian pounds. The vehicle comes with a 5-year or 100,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first, providing customers with peace of mind regarding their investment in this high-performance electric vehicle.

Powertrain and Performance

The Kia EV6 GT is powered by a fully electric drivetrain delivering a maximum output of 640 horsepower and peak torque of 740 Nm. Thanks to these specifications, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, while achieving a top speed of 260 km/h. The vehicle also features a luxurious design with high-quality interior materials, alongside the latest advanced technology systems.

Battery, Range, and Charging Times

The GT variant is equipped with an 84 kWh battery pack, providing a driving range of up to 450 kilometers on a single charge. For charging, a full charge from a standard charger takes approximately 81 minutes, while a fast charger with 350 kW capacity can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% in just 18 minutes, enhancing daily usability for drivers in Egypt.
