El-Araby El-Sewedy Investment Group, the exclusive local distributor for Jaekoo and Omoda brands in Egypt, has officially introduced the Jaekoo J5 compact crossover—the brand's first vehicle in the Egyptian market. Power comes from a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 147 horsepower and 210 Nm of peak torque. A CVT automatic gearbox handles shifts, sending power to the front wheels. Those numbers position the J5 firmly within the competitive compact SUV segment.
