IM LS9 Officially Launched in Egypt as the Largest Range-Extended SUV Starting at EGP 3.5 Million
Mansour Automotive has officially launched the all-new IM LS9 in the Egyptian market, making it the largest SUV to carry the premium Chinese brand IM Motors, which is part of the SAIC Motor Group. The vehicle relies on an Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) powertrain and is available in two trim levels with prices starting from EGP 3.5 million.
IM LS9 Specifications Ahead of Official Launch in Egypt
The IM LS9 belongs to the full-size luxury SUV segment, measuring 5,279 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, and 1,806 mm in height, with a wheelbase extending to 3,160 mm. These dimensions position it among the largest vehicles in its class within the Egyptian market.
Electric Powertrain with a Total Range of Up to 1,500 Kilometers
The IM LS9 is built around an EREV system where the vehicle is driven entirely by electric motors, while a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine acts as a generator to recharge the battery during travel without any mechanical connection to the wheels. The system produces a combined output of 523 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
The SUV is equipped with a 66 kWh battery that delivers an electric-only range of up to 402 kilometers under the CLTC cycle, while the total driving range reaches approximately 1,500 kilometers when using the petrol generator. This feature makes the IM LS9 ideal for long journeys without range anxiety.
Interior Features and Digital Technologies
The IM LS9 boasts a luxurious cabin dominated by digital technology, featuring a panoramic Mini LED display measuring 27.1 inches with 5K resolution that stretches across the driver and front passenger. The interior also includes advanced driver-assistance systems, premium leather seats with power adjustment and memory function, a high-quality sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
