IM LS9 Officially Launches in Egypt This July

Al Mansour Automotive, the official distributor of the IM brand in Egypt, is preparing to unveil the all-new IM LS9 this July. The official launch event is set for July 21, introducing a large luxury SUV equipped with Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, an advanced hybrid system that combines a traditional internal combustion engine with an electric motor for enhanced efficiency and range.

Powertrain and Hybrid System

The IM LS9 relies on a sophisticated hybrid powertrain. A 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine serves as a generator to charge the battery, while an electric motor drives the wheels. The SUV is offered in two power variants: a base version producing 523 horsepower and a more powerful version generating up to 737 horsepower. It features a substantial 65.9 kWh battery pack, enabling a pure electric range of 308 kilometers, while the total driving range exceeds 1,500 kilometers. The vehicle is built on an 800-volt electrical architecture, ensuring efficient charging and optimal performance.

Dimensions and Exterior Design

The IM LS9 is a full-size luxury SUV with dimensions measuring 5,279 mm in length, 2,000 mm in width, 1,806 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 3,160 mm, with a kerb weight of 2,695 kg. Its bold exterior design features a continuous front light bar stretching 2.4 meters across, a closed front grille with a lower air intake, and chrome accents. The side profile takes inspiration from luxury yachts, with wheel options ranging from 20 to 22 inches, power-deployable running boards, and a full-width rear light bar. A rear spoiler and chrome detailing complete the sophisticated look.

Luxurious Interior and Entertainment Features

The cabin of the IM LS9 blends luxury with cutting-edge technology. It is appointed with wood trim and premium Nappa leather upholstery. Entertainment and connectivity are handled by a massive 27-inch central display, a separate 15.6-inch front passenger screen, and two 21.5-inch rear screens. The audio system, developed by B&O, features 25 strategically placed speakers, complemented by ambient lighting and an advanced air purification system. The front seats also offer a massage function for maximum comfort during long journeys.

Safety and Driver Assistance Systems

The IM LS9 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Safety technology includes a 360-degree camera, a laser radar system with 520 lines, intelligent headlights, dynamic zone tracking, and dedicated rain and night driving modes. The vehicle boasts a robust body structure, quad-wheel steering, adaptive air suspension, intelligent all-wheel drive, and advanced systems for rollover mitigation and stability control in the event of a tire blowout, ensuring exceptional safety and driving confidence.
