The rollout is moving forward. GB Auto, Hyundai's distributor in Egypt, has officially confirmed the arrival of the Hyundai Venue and released the vehicle's official specifications, while reaffirming that the compact SUV will be introduced to the Egyptian automotive market in the coming period as preparations continue for its official launch.

Official engine specifications

1.6 liters tells the story. According to the company's official announcement, the Hyundai Venue will be powered by a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that has already been used in several well-known vehicles in the Egyptian market and has established a proven track record over the years, producing 123 horsepower and working with a six-speed automatic transmission as listed in the official specifications. The figures are confirmed.

Final testing phase

But what comes next? The Hyundai Venue is currently undergoing its final operational testing program to verify its ability to perform on Egyptian roads before its official market introduction, with the company confirming that the launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026 after those evaluations have been completed. Testing continues.

Expanding local production

The strategy is clear. GB Auto is working to expand production of its vehicle lineup in Egypt as part of its plans to deepen local manufacturing and increase the number of models it offers in the market, while making use of available production capacity left unused after local production of the Hyundai Accent RB ended, with Hyundai Elantra AD currently remaining the only locally produced model. The next step is set.
