Hyundai Accent RB Replacement Set for Official Launch in Egyptian Market
Ghabbour Auto, the official distributor of Hyundai in Egypt, is preparing to unveil the Venue crossover SUV within the coming weeks. This move comes as the local market increasingly shifts toward compact SUVs, positioning the new model as a strategic offering for the Korean brand.
Official Replacement for the Accent RB
According to informed sources, the Hyundai Venue will serve as the official replacement for the Accent RB compact family sedan in Egypt. Local production of the Accent RB is expected to cease by the end of this year, paving the way for the Venue to fill the gap in the Egyptian market. The Venue is one of the smallest crossovers offered by Hyundai globally, belonging to the subcompact SUV segment, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a practical, compact vehicle with adequate ground clearance.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The Hyundai Venue is available in several global markets with small-displacement gasoline engines, most notably a 1.0-liter turbo or a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated unit, paired with either a manual or automatic transmission. The vehicle offers safety features including multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and driver assistance systems in higher trims. It comes with a 45-liter fuel tank, and its average fuel consumption ranges between 11.6 and 11.9 liters per 100 kilometers, enhancing daily driving efficiency.
Dimensions and Interior Features
The Hyundai Venue measures 3,995 mm in length, 1,770 mm in width, and approximately 1,617 mm in height, making it comfortable for city driving and easy to park. It also offers a rear cargo space of up to 355 liters, catering to small family needs. The Venue features a modern design with Hyundai's contemporary identity, including a bold front fascia and LED headlights on certain trims, along with a central infotainment screen supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enhancing the connected driving experience.
