Haval V7 Hybrid Officially Launches in Egypt — Starting at EGP 1.825 Million

Ghabbour Auto Group, the official distributor of Haval in Egypt, has officially launched the all-new Haval V7 in the local market. The SUV arrives in two trims, with prices starting from EGP 1.825 million for the base version. The higher-spec second trim is priced at EGP 2.1 million.

Plug-in Hybrid Powertrain and All-Wheel Drive

The Haval V7 is built around the Hi4 Plug-in Hybrid system, combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with an electric drive unit. The combustion engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW, equivalent to roughly 154 horsepower. Top speed is rated at 190 km/h.

Power comes from lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries offered globally in three capacities: 23.7 kWh, 33.7 kWh, and 44.7 kWh. Electric driving range varies by battery size, starting between 103 and 105 km for the smallest unit. The mid-size battery extends that to between 145 and 147 km. With the largest 44.7 kWh pack, the car achieves an electric-only range of 188 to 191 km, depending on the testing standard used.

Interior Features and Multiple Driving Modes

The Haval V7 comes with an all-wheel-drive system and nine selectable driving modes: Auto, Standard, Sport, and Eco. Additional off-road settings include Snow, Mud, Sand, Grass and Gravel, and Uneven, allowing drivers to adapt to various road conditions.

Inside, the new model features leather upholstery with ventilated front seats. The driver's seat offers eight-way electric adjustment along with a memory function for saved settings.

With the arrival of the Haval V7, buyers in Egypt gain another option in the growing plug-in hybrid SUV segment. Demand for fuel-efficient vehicles continues to rise, strengthening the position of Haval cars in this market. The company has yet to announce full availability details across dealerships nationwide.
