Haval V7 Hybrid Makes Egypt Debut: First Drive in Ain Sokhna, Up to 360 HP and 1,404 Liters of Cargo Space

GB Auto, the exclusive distributor of Haval in Egypt, organized a special media drive event in Ain Sokhna to showcase the capabilities of the new Haval V7 on various roads and tracks. The event coincided with the model's official launch in the Egyptian market. One number stands out: 360 horsepower in the plug-in hybrid version.

Haval V7 Hits Egypt with Two Hybrid Variants and 360 HP

The Haval V7 is available in Egypt with a Hybrid version featuring front-wheel drive, delivering up to 244 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque. The second variant is a Plug-in Hybrid equipped with Hi4 technology and all-wheel drive, producing a combined 360 horsepower with torque reaching 760 Nm. The plug-in version also gets all-wheel drive and a rear axle differential lock, supporting its ability to handle sandy roads, unpaved surfaces, and desert tracks.

Boxy Design and Generous Dimensions: Over 1,400 Liters of Cargo Space

The Haval V7 adopts a boxy design, measuring 4.8 meters in length and 1.95 meters in width, with cargo space reaching 1,404 liters when the seats are folded. These dimensions aim to provide more room for passengers and luggage, especially during long trips and heavy-load scenarios. The vehicle belongs to the SUV segment.

15.6-Inch Screen and Advanced Tech Features

The cabin includes a 12.3-inch instrument cluster screen, alongside a large 15.6-inch central display and a head-up display (HUD) system. These advanced tech features come as part of a comprehensive package targeting buyers looking for a large family SUV. Haval is aiming this model at a wide customer base in the Egyptian market.

The launch in Egypt comes amid fierce competition in the hybrid SUV segment, where brands like Chery and Mitsubishi are competing for the same buyers.
