Haval V7 Hybrid SUV Set for Egyptian Launch in August
The Egyptian automotive market is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the all-new Haval V7, which is expected to be officially launched in August. This new model belongs to the mid-size SUV segment and features a hybrid powertrain that combines a traditional internal combustion engine with electric components, enhancing fuel efficiency while reducing emissions. The Haval V7 comes with generous exterior dimensions, measuring 4.84 meters in length, 1.92 meters in width, and 1.78 meters in height, riding on a 2.84-meter wheelbase that provides excellent stability and ample interior space for passengers and cargo alike.
Exterior Design and Interior Cabin
The Haval H6 sports a bold exterior design characterized by a large black front grille, full LED headlights and taillights, and front and rear fog lamps. Additional exterior features include a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels, a wide rear bumper, and a roof spoiler that enhances aerodynamics. Inside, the cabin offers a premium experience with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch infotainment screen, complemented by a head-up display (HUD). The interior also boasts ventilated leather seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function, wireless phone charging, customizable ambient lighting, a premium sound system, and multi-zone automatic climate control.
Performance and Powertrain
Under the hood, the Haval V7 is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 234 horsepower and 385 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and features an all-wheel-drive system, ensuring strong performance across various terrains. This powertrain configuration positions the V7 as a strong contender in the mid-size hybrid SUV segment, where buyers increasingly seek a balance between power and efficiency.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
The Haval V7 comes equipped with an advanced suite of driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, and intelligent parking assist. Safety equipment also includes six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, 360-degree surround-view cameras, and transparent chassis technology. These features are expected to appeal to Egyptian families looking for a spacious, technologically advanced, and highly safe SUV for daily commuting and long-distance travel.
