Chinese automaker Haval is set to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market with the introduction of an all-new model. This move comes amid intensifying competition from other Chinese brands that have recently transformed the automotive landscape with more exciting, tech-driven vehicles.

Haval Jolion Max Debuts in Egypt

Haval, through its local distributor GB Auto, will launch a new car in the Egyptian market this May. The model is the Haval Jolion Max, a larger variant of the standard Jolion, making its first local appearance.

Engine and Performance of the Haval Jolion Max

The Haval Jolion Max is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivering 174 hp and 275 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. A hybrid version is also available, combining a gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total output of 190 hp.

The car features an updated exterior design with sporty touches, including LED headlights and taillights, a power tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and sporty alloy wheels. These elements give the vehicle a commanding road presence. A 360-degree surround-view camera is also available for added convenience and safety.

Inside, the Jolion Max sits between the Jolion Pro and the H6 in size, with a length of 4.59 meters, a width of 1.87 meters, and a generous wheelbase for ample interior space. The cabin boasts a 12.3-inch display screen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charger, dual-zone automatic climate control, and ambient lighting.
