Geely Emgrand 2026 in Egypt: Two Trims Priced from EGP 879K with a 1500cc Engine

Geely's official distributors in Egypt have launched two trims of the Geely Emgrand 2026, with prices starting at EGP 879,000 for the base trim and reaching EGP 999,000 for the higher one. Power comes from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 120 horsepower and 152 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Performance and Fuel Economy

It hits 100 km/h from a standstill in 12.6 seconds. Fuel consumption averages 6.4 liters per 100 km — a reasonable figure for an economy sedan in this segment.

The numbers place the Emgrand squarely against compact sedans that are gaining traction across the Egyptian market right now.

Safety Equipment Breakdown

The base trim includes front airbags, anti-lock braking, electronic stability control, electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist, cruise control, tire-pressure monitoring, an electric parking brake, rear parking sensors, an anti-theft system, a smart key, collision door unlocking, keyless start, and smart entry.

The second trim adds side airbags, front side airbags, and a rear camera — justifying the EGP 120,000 gap between the two versions. This is where the extra money actually goes.

Comfort and Infotainment

Cabin features include electric window closing, a glass lifter, smart air conditioning, a front USB port, an additional USB outlet, a 12-volt power socket, automatic climate control, and rear AC vents. The top trim gains one extra feature only: Apple CarPlay support.
