Fiat E-Ulysse Electric Van Arrives in Egypt with 8 Seats and a 360 km Range

Fiat has introduced its all-electric E-Ulysse people carrier to the Egyptian market, and the numbers are hard to ignore. The van, which seats eight passengers across three rows, carries an official price tag of EGP 2,790,000 and is offered in a single trim level through the Italian brand's local distributor.

Electric Powertrain Built for Urban Duty

A single electric motor drives the front wheels, producing 136 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. Top speed is capped at 130 km/h — a sensible figure for a large family hauler that prioritizes comfort over straight-line thrills.

Energy comes from a 75 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which delivers a claimed driving range of up to 360 kilometers on a single charge. Fast charging capability is part of the package too, taking the battery from 0 to 80% in roughly 45 minutes at a suitable DC charger.

Spacious Cabin with Real Flexibility

Size matters in this segment, and the Fiat E-Ulysse measures 4,956 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and 1,890 mm in height. Those dimensions translate into a cavernous interior with up to 900 liters of cargo space behind the rear seats.

Three rows of seats accommodate eight occupants in total. That layout makes the E-Ulysse a genuinely practical choice for large families or small shuttle operations, especially given the flat floor and flexible seat configurations common to this platform.

Comprehensive Safety and Driver Assistance

Fiat has equipped its electric van with a robust safety suite, including front airbags with optional side curtain airbags, ABS, electronic stability control (ESC), brake assist (BAS), and an electric parking brake (EPB).

Advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are also on board, featuring autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, and traction control.
