Citroën is set to introduce its all-new C3 Aircross to the Egyptian market in the coming days, with the official unveiling scheduled for July 28. This launch comes at a time when the compact SUV segment (B-SUV) is witnessing intense competition in Egypt, giving the car a strong opportunity to reclaim its competitive position thanks to its updated design and advanced technologies.

New Exterior Design and Advanced Suspension

The all-new C3 Aircross features a complete redesign that brings it closer to larger SUVs in terms of boldness and ruggedness, with a fresh design language. It is available globally in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations, offering exceptional flexibility in its class. The car also relies on the advanced Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension system, designed to deliver the highest levels of ride comfort on various road surfaces, along with a C-Zen Lounge structure that enhances the driving experience.

Head-Up Display and Advanced Infotainment

One of the standout features of the new model's interior is a vertical Head-Up Display that incorporates the latest generation of infotainment and connectivity systems. The C3 Aircross is well-equipped with the Citroën Advanced Comfort® suspension, automatic air conditioning, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include cruise control, rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

Turbocharged Petrol Engine and Electrified Options

On the performance front, Citroën introduces a new turbocharged petrol engine in the C3 Aircross: the PureTech Turbo 100, a three-cylinder unit producing 100 hp. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, offering economical performance suitable for daily city driving. In addition to the petrol engine, the car will be available in international markets with two other powertrains: a 48-volt hybrid system producing 136 hp, and a fully electric version with a range exceeding 400 kilometers.

Hybrid Version and Electric Powertrain Details

The all-new C3 Aircross also features a new engine in its 136-hp hybrid version with a 48-volt system, powered by the next-generation PureTech 1.2 engine specifically designed for hybrids. This engine incorporates a variable-geometry turbocharger and a timing chain for enhanced durability, along with an electrified dual-clutch automatic transmission (e-DCT). For the first time in the B-SUV segment, Citroën offers an all-electric version of the five-seat C3 Aircross, equipped with an 83 kW (113 hp) electric motor and a 54 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, delivering a range of up to 400 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
