Chevrolet S10 Max Makes Egyptian Debut at 2026 Commercial Transport Show
Mansour Automotive Group and General Motors Egypt have unveiled the all-new Chevrolet S10 Max pickup truck at the 2026 Al-Ahram Commercial Transport Show, marking the vehicle's official debut in the Egyptian market. The reveal was accompanied by a comprehensive display of commercial transport vehicles, reinforcing the American brand's dominance in this vital sector.
The exhibition runs from June 18 to 20 at the Cairo International Convention Center in Nasr City, with broad participation from major automotive companies. Chevrolet showcased its latest commercial transport solutions designed to support various economic activities and meet the needs of businesses and entrepreneurs.
Chevrolet's Commercial Lineup
The display included the iconic light-duty 'Chevrolet El Dabbaba' and the locally manufactured 'Chevrolet Jumbo' family in its QMR, NPR, and NQR variants. However, the S10 Max drew the most attention as the newest addition to the company's portfolio and its first official appearance in Egypt.
The participation comes as Chevrolet continues to lead the local commercial vehicle market, backed by a long history of reliability and a strong presence across transport and logistics sectors.
Executive Statements
Ankush Arora, CEO of Mansour Automotive Group, confirmed that launching the S10 Max in Egypt marks a new step in the company's strategy to deliver vehicles combining power, efficiency, and reliability. He noted that Mansour goes beyond providing vehicles, offering integrated solutions that help businesses boost productivity and improve operational efficiency.
Sharon Nishi, Chairman and Managing Director of General Motors Egypt and Africa, stated that the exhibition participation coincides with Chevrolet's celebration of 100 years in Egypt. She affirmed that the company continues to support the commercial transport sector by offering advanced models that combine quality, reliability, and local manufacturing.
Chevrolet S10 Max Specifications
The Chevrolet S10 Max enters the double-cab pickup segment with three different trims. The four-wheel-drive version is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine producing 159 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, available with both manual and automatic transmission options.
