The Egyptian International Company for Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Renault in Egypt, is offering the Renault Kardian as the most affordable new European crossover SUV in the local market this July. The Kardian is a compact SUV available in three trim levels, targeting the budget-friendly segment with a strong European pedigree.

The Renault Kardian is powered by a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 100 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque, mated to an automatic transmission. The crossover measures 4,120 mm in length with a 2,604 mm wheelbase, and boasts a ground clearance of 209 mm for light off-road capability. Luggage capacity stands at 410 liters, while the fuel tank holds 50 liters.

Safety Systems

The Kardian comes equipped with a comprehensive safety package including front airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Emergency Brake Assist, and Hill Start Assist. It also features rear parking sensors, cruise control, and tire pressure monitoring. Higher trims add side airbags, a rearview camera, blind spot monitoring, and a 360-degree surround-view camera system.
