Changan CS55 Plus 2027 Locally Assembled in Egypt Starting from EGP 1,130,000
GB Auto, the official distributor of Changan in Egypt, has launched the locally assembled version of the Changan CS55 Plus for the 2027 model year. The vehicle is available in two distinct trim levels, with prices starting at EGP 1,130,000 for the base variant and reaching EGP 1,260,000 for the higher specification grade.
Engine and Performance Specifications
The Changan CS55 Plus features a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 185 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and responsive performance suitable for both urban commuting and highway cruising.
Safety and Driver Assistance Systems
The vehicle comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including multiple airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake (EPD), and a brake override system (BOS). Additional safety aids include rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, and a blind-spot monitoring system to enhance driver awareness during lane changes.
Exterior and Interior Features
Externally, the Changan CS55 Plus features full LED headlights and taillights, LED daytime running lights, automatic headlight sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and power-folding side mirrors with integrated turn signals. The top trim rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin offers keyless start and entry, central locking, automatic climate control with rear vents, a multifunction steering wheel, a power-adjustable driver seat, and a panoramic sunroof.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The infotainment system is centered around a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, supported by six speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, radio controls on the steering wheel, a USB port, and a head-up display for key driving information. The car also includes cruise control with a speed limiter, lane-keeping assist, tire pressure monitoring, an Eco driving mode, hill-start assist (HA), and a brake assist function.
