GB Auto, the official distributor of Changan in Egypt, has launched the locally assembled version of the Changan CS55 Plus for the 2027 model year. The vehicle is available in two distinct trim levels, with prices starting at EGP 1,130,000 for the base variant and reaching EGP 1,260,000 for the higher specification grade.

Engine and Performance Specifications

The Changan CS55 Plus features a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 185 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission, providing smooth and responsive performance suitable for both urban commuting and highway cruising.

Safety and Driver Assistance Systems

The vehicle comes equipped with a comprehensive suite of safety features, including multiple airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake (EPD), and a brake override system (BOS).
