Mansour Automotive's Cadillac Unveils All-Electric Escalade IQ and Optiq in Egypt
Cadillac continues to strengthen its presence in the Egyptian market following the successful launch of Mansour Automotive as the exclusive local distributor last May. The American luxury brand is now showcasing two of its latest all-electric vehicles: the Escalade IQ and the Optiq. This move is part of the distributor's strategy to enhance Cadillac's local footprint and elevate the customer experience through specialized 3S facilities that offer comprehensive services including sales, maintenance, and spare parts under one roof.
Luxury Experience at the North Coast
Mansour Automotive for Cadillac is bringing its latest electric models closer to customers on the North Coast through a strategic partnership with Maa'soom Marassi, where the brand displays its luxury vehicles. This collaboration allows visitors to experience the new era of electric luxury up close, enjoying an exceptional driving experience that combines powerful performance with the elegant design Cadillac is known for. The initiative is part of the company's efforts to raise awareness about its electric vehicles and deliver a superior customer experience.
Escalade IQ: Exceptional Power and Long Range
The Escalade IQ draws its power from a massive 205 kWh battery, generating up to 750 horsepower and 1,064 Nm of torque in Velocity Max mode. The SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds and offers a driving range estimated by Cadillac at over 750 kilometers, making it one of the most advanced luxury electric vehicles in terms of performance and range. The vehicle is available in two trims: Premium Luxury and Premium Sport.
The Escalade IQ features a 55-inch curved front display, an AKG Studio Reference audio system with 38 speakers supporting Dolby Atmos technology, providing an immersive audio experience. It also includes an Adaptive Air Ride Suspension with Magnetic Ride Control, night vision system, power-opening and closing doors with quiet closure technology, and a luxurious cabin seating seven passengers with rear-seat entertainment. All-wheel drive, 24-inch wheels, and a comprehensive suite of safety and comfort technologies complete the package. Pricing starts at EGP 10,950,000.
Optiq: A New Entry into Cadillac's Electric Lineup
The Optiq represents a new entry point into Cadillac's fully electric vehicle lineup, producing 440 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque in Velocity Max mode. The vehicle features an elegant design and a luxurious cabin, making it an ideal choice for those seeking an advanced electric driving experience that combines performance with sophistication. This model helps expand Cadillac's customer base in Egypt, attracting a new segment interested in premium electric vehicles at a relatively more competitive price point compared to the larger model. These new models further reinforce the American brand's commitment to transitioning toward electric powertrains and bringing the latest electric vehicle technology to the Egyptian market.
